A very warm Happy New Year to you and your families. As we begin Term 2 on Tuesday, 6th January, we are pleased to welcome back our returning families and to extend a special welcome to our new parents and students joining the St. Catherine’s family.

We look forward to another productive and rewarding term and remain fully committed to supporting each child’s academic growth, confidence, and overall development. Your continued encouragement, partnership, and involvement play a vital role in your child’s success, and we thank you sincerely for the trust you place in us.

As we move forward into the new term, we kindly remind parents of the importance of keeping school fees up to date, as this allows us to continue providing the quality learning environment and programmes your children deserve. We appreciate your cooperation in this regard. 

Term 2 Evaluation
Assessment for Term 2 will be conducted through two project-based evaluations.
Further details and descriptions of these projects will be shared shortly. 

Term Length
Term 2 will span 12 weeks. 

Important Term 2 Information & Dates

Swimming & Karate
Swimming and Karate classes will resume on Thursday, 15th January and will continue every Thursday until 26th March 2026.

Carnival Activities & Closures

• Carnival Field Trip to the Savannah: 10th February
  (Cost to be determined and shared closer to the date)

• Carnival Jump-Up & Fundraiser: 12th February

• School will be closed Friday 13th February

• Carnival Monday & Tuesday: 16th and 17th February

• School will be closed on these days

• School will resume on Thursday, 19th February 

After-School S.E.A. Mathematics Lessons and Homework Classes
After-school homework sessions resume from the first week of school and will be held on:

• Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays

• 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  These sessions will continue until further notice. 

The cost for the extracurricular activities remains the same: 

• Swimming $50 per session.

• Karate is $200 per term.

• After-School S.E.A. Mathematics Lessons and Homework Classes $500 per month.
